4th Annual Chalkart Festival

On Saturday, November 13, 2010, the Cultural Arts Commission will be hosting the Chalk Art Festival at Thomas Plaza in downtown Pomona from 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. This will be the fourth year the Cultural Arts Commission has hosted the Festival in the ancient tradition of street painting in which dull gray concrete sidewalks are transformed into colorful, pastel pathways. Pomona elementary, middle, and high school students will join with professional artists to create temporary chalk masterpieces.

Pre-registration is necessarry for participating artists. Cash Prizes available.
