SECRETS REVEALED!

Downtown Pomona has two very beautiful plazas, Thomas Plaza at W. 2nd. St & Thomas St, and Locust Plaza at E. 2nd St. and Locust St. The architects and builders probably don't realize just how perfectly they built these plazas, they are symmetrically perfect! To prove it, visit the plazas and try this test for yourself:
Stand exactly in the center of the City Seal in Thomas Plaza, facing the stage. With both feet planted squarely shout out something (or just speak loudly) and you will get an echo feedback. Lest your friends think you are crazy standing in the middle of an empty plaza talking to yourself you should know that only you will hear the feedback. Do the same thing at Locust Plaza, stand in the exact center. Pretty Cool!

We've got one more beautiful plaza, even if it doesn't have any special acoustic properties -- I love the plaza at Civic Center Park. Especially the mosaics of our city log.

These are beautiful! I especially love the City Seal. These secrets were worth the wait. Thanks!

I think that the tiled Pomona "P" Wheel mosaic that is on the MMMmy Pomona blog (also seen on the link on this sites home page) is simply awesome too. Where is it? Lets make more!
