Weekend in Downtown Pomona

The weather Saturday morning was perfect for the Antique Collectors street Fair on East Second St. Antique dealers from far and wide set up shop for the quarterly event. Later in the day the action moved to West Second St. where the Certified Farmers Market set up with live entertainment, a car show, cruise night, and Metro Night Out, with open tours of the 40 art galleries in Pomona's Downtown Art Colony.

Sunday's weather couldn't have been better. Locals gathered at The Drink at the Fox for Sunday Brunch. Then it was off to the movies for a rare showing of "The Wizard of Oz" on the big screen at the newly restored Fox Theatre. Over 700 people attended the movie only to discover that we aren't in Kansas anymore. All in all a great family friendly weekend, and except for the cost of brunch and the $2 movie ticket...it was all free. That's what it's all about.
