End of another good year in downtown Pomona!

Several downtown locals and other Pomonans gathered to wish each other a happy holiday season and say goodbye to 2009. The evening began at the Drink at the Fox and ended at the dba256 Wine Bar and Gallery, where the ugly Christmas sweater contest took place. Happy New Year to all!

Pomona's December Art Walk

The Pomona Christmas Parade and Holiday at the Plaza weren't the only events Saturday. The Second Saturday Art Walk in downtown Pomona was also happening between 6PM and 9PM. With almost 40 galleries in the Pomona Art Colony, there was lots to see and do. Many came by to visit old friends and meet new ones. It is the social event of the month. If you haven't been, you're missing out. See you next time!

Pomona Christmas Parade

The return of the Pomona Christmas Parade to downtown Pomona was on schedule, in spite of the rain. The community came together in wonderful spirit to make all Pomonans proud and bring back a sense of togetherness that will only improve as time goes on. It was the intent of the parade committee to include any group, organization, or individual who wanted to participate. No one was turned away. To all who participated in the parade, thank you for braving the weather and coming out. For all those who viewed the parade, we hope you had a good time. We will be back next year, so mark your calendars for the second Saturday in December. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
