Happy October

Saturday, October 10, 2009 opened with a full blown skateboarding exhibition in the parking lot at 3rd & Thomas Streets. Second Saturday Art Walk took up the rest of day and night, as did the Farmers Market at Thomas Plaza. The kids from the School of Arts and Enterprise showed off their musical talents throughout the evening, and a street-jam along Second Street in front of Ink'd Chronicles kept the crowds entertained until midnight or later. Attendance was high, probably in excess of 5,000. The Farmers Market counted over 3,000 in attendance. AMOCA experienced large crowds as well. And from all accounts all the galleries had good turnouts. Another happening night in downtown Pomona!
