It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

The Downtown Pomona Owner's Association (DPOA) has been busy installing Holiday decorations in the downtown. Red bows can be seen on 2nd St. from Gibbs to Park, and along Garey Ave from 2nd St. to Mission Blavd. Holiday wreaths will soon be hanging from the Antique Row and Art Colony arches at 2nd. and Garey. Coming soon will be holiday banners along Garey Ave. from 2nd St. to Mission, and finally (if all goes well) a lighted display stretching across Garey Ave at 3rd. St. It's been many a year since any lighted displays have been seen on Garey Ave.
We know we're a little early getting these displays up, we just wanted to be the first on our block to get into the spirit.

Yeah! I love Christmas and our town looks really pretty all dressed up for the Holidays.
We're going to put our tree up next week and decorate the windows.
Thanks for making the place look pretty!

Between the decorations and the remodeling of the Fox Theater, there's a real hopeful sense of revitalization in the air.

Is the Pomona Baking Company or Locust Lounge still open? I've made a few trips from Diamond Bar to try these places only to find them closed each time. What gives?

The Locust Lounge stopped serving lunch, they are now open 5PM to? They close early on nights business is slow.
